Mansion House Inn Policy
A valid credit card (or advance check deposit) is required to secure your reservation.
A two-night minimum stay is required for the Ocean View, Blue Heron and Atlantic rooms on weekends and holidays.
No minimum stay required for Spence
A three-night minimum stay is required for the Sunset Cottage
Check-in is between 3:00 and 7:00 PM; arrangements may be made in advance for late arrivals. Check-out by Noon.
Cash, traveler's checks Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover are accepted (5% discount for cash or taveler's checks).
Because we are small, last minute cancellations affect us significantly. If you find it necessary to cancel or change your reservation, please call at least seven days prior to scheduled arrival time for refund of your deposit. For cancellations of less than 7 days you are responsible for the full value of the reservation unless we are able to rebook the room. Holidays and multiple bookings require 14 day cancellation notice. Also, there are no refunds for early departures.
During the Corona Virus Pandemic there will be no charge for cancellations due to illness. If you are not feeling well please cancel your reservation as soon as possible and visit us after you recover.
Inn Policies - Children, Additional Guests and Pets:
Children and additional guests are welcome at the Inn with prior notification; $25 per night additional charge for extra bed in room.
Sunset Cottage accommodates 4 guests. Additional guests are welcome with prior notification for a $15 per night additional charge.
Well behaved dogs are accepted in some inn rooms with prior notification, subject to availability; $25 per night additional charge. Pets are not allowed at the Sunset Cottage
Breakfast is served in the dining room from 8:00 - 9:30 AM Saturdays and Sundays, and 8:00 - 9:00 Weekdays.
Smoking: The Mansion House is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is allowed on the porches and grounds.
